BenIreland published Diversions after car fire in Arnold town centre

A car was stranded in the middle of a junction after it caught fire in Arnold town centre.Smoke was seen billowing out of the car's bonnet after it was involved in a crash with another vehicle.Firefighters and police  were called to High Street, outside Wilkinson's, at 12.30pm on Saturday January 31.A diversion was in place, with drivers sent via Front Street.The vehicles were lifted to safety.A spokeswoman for the police said there were no injuries as a result
