Moving tributes paid to popular artist who inspired many through his work

Mitchell Heggie, 80, died at his home in Beacon Lough, Gateshead, following a heart attack. He dedicated 60 years to his artwork that was inspired by North East landmarks and featured in a number of venues throughout the region
