Traffic cops' U-turn after tweeting misleading advice on correct position for your satnav

A tweet on Greater Manchester Police’s Traffic account incorrectly claimed that ‘the only legal place’ to put a satnav was ‘the bottom right hand side of your windscreen... everywhere else is illegal’.
