Two seven-room HMOs on same Edgware street seek lawful status

Applications have been submitted to confirm the lawful use of two houses on the same Edgware street as seven-room HMOs.
The properties, at 65 and 82 Brook Avenue, are already being used as shared accommodation, according to documents uploaded to the Barnet Council website. The applicant says both have operated this way for more than a decade.
The applications seek Certificates of Lawfulness for Existing Use, rather than permission to convert the houses into new HMOs.
