Then & Now: A brass band taking a break outside a pub over a century ago

Above is an early photo of the Bull & Crown in Chingford from c1880s that was recently discovered by Chingford Historical Society showing the local brass band taking a break outside the pub. Onlookers from the shop peer out of the doorway.
