The Beauty Queen of Leenane is a play about a mother and daughter’s strained relationship. The play is particularly emotional and the audience will find it hard to predict the ending. The play is a good mixture between sardonic humor and raw emotion, they complement each other nicely leaving the audience feeling deeply touched without too much sadness.
