Recent Increase in Bike Thefts - Harry Pritchard, Hampton School

In London, bike thefts are becoming more frequent since COVID has started. In fact, the bike theft rates have trebled since the start of COVID. In London alone there are 492 bike thefts per 100,000 residents. Another shocking statistic is that between February 2020 and  March 2021, over 26,400 bikes have been stolen.
