Nature Notes: Hoping spring will reawaken soon

Instead of awakening, spring has drifted back to sleep, not because of a return of that 'beast from the east ' but more of a dose of 'wrath from the north' as another Arctic blast swept southwards. Yet still my local robins continued to sing even during the heaviest snowfall.
