Location of Queen's Platinum Jubilee trees in Epping criticised

The three trees recently planted on Stonard’s Hill Recreation Ground in Epping to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee constitute a mean and rather pathetic memorial to a unique occasion in the nation’s history, with not even plaques attached to them to explain their significance. They are widely separated in remote parts of the site so that even some regular visitors there are unsure of where they are.
