How has COVID 19 helped New York workers? Grace Galloway, Notre Dame

During the pandemic in 2020 lots of countries went into lockdown including the famous state of New York City. Beginning the full lockdown in march 2020 until April 2020 followed by a four-phase reopening plan ongoing until July 2020. This forced New York workers to work from home using websites such as Microsoft teams and zoom to continue working via calls. The pandemic transformed the American workplace and the percentage of works from home rose from 4.7% in 2019 to 61% by may 2020. Susan Ross
