Genetic engineering is a growing process in science in today’s world. It is when you take a gene for a desired characteristic from one organism and insert it into the genome of another organism to get the desired characteristic. This process involves 2 enzymes, the restriction enzyme and the ligase enzyme. In simple words, it is when a scientist gets the desired characteristic and inserts it into a human or plant.
