Sustainability is the responsible use of natural resources to support both current and future generations. In 1987, the United Nations defined sustainability as “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” With all of the current issues in our world, global warming appears to be a slow but damaging process that will harm our future unless something is done.
