On a picturesque Sunday in November, members of two local canoe clubs met in Cuckmere Haven for a four hour boat trip. After a quick safety talk, the two open canoes and four kayaks launched into the crystal clear ox-bow lake to begin a sunny paddle up the River Cuckmere.
