Epping Forest council slammed for cutting money to voluntary groups

I have just become aware that Epping Forest District Council are proposing to spend £185 million on a housing plan and £160,000 on upgrading the council chamber plus a further £100,00 for a new cafe in the civic offices. A lot of money indeed. Simultaneously they plan to cut contributions to voluntary groups by 50% from £90,000 to £41,000. I find this scandalous.
