Over the past few years, there has been an increase in the consumerism of Eid in the UK. With the growing Muslim population in the country (3.87 million, or 6.5 % of the total according to the 2021 census), retailers are beginning to recognize the importance of Eid as a significant cultural and religious event, and are now catering to the needs and wants of the Muslim community.
