Do children read enough? - David Isibor Ilford County (ICHS)

How many of us actually read in our free time? How many of us read on a daily basis, not because we are told to but because we enjoy it. Personally, I love reading and do my best to read on a daily basis and I see many benefits from it. However, according to the National Literacy Trust children and young people's reading engagement report only 47.8% of children aged 8 to 18 said they read for enjoyment. This means that 52.2% of children don't enjoy reading, so they probably don't read at all. Re
