Bejewelled Post-Box Fit for a Queen - by Chloe MacLean, Notre Dame

In a wandering walk last week in Walton, I stumbled upon a post-box decorated by the 6th Walton Guides and the 1st Walton Rangers in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II jubilee. It was a creative and imaginative tribute with a note attached that read, “6th Walton Guides and 1st Walton Rangers would like to thank, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for the guiding light she has been to her family, her country, the Commonwealth, and the world. 70 years of serving us all. A true inspiration!”
