An Ethiopian Christmas: Country set back in time.

Ethiopia, one of the only countries that use the ‘Ge’ez calendar’ meaning that they are 7 to 8 years behind England, which uses ‘Gregorian calendar’. Ethiopia is one of the first countries in the world to adopt Christianity as a religion, with traces of Christianity as far back as 4th century AD. Furthermore it is believed that a part of the cross the Jesus Christ was crucified on is in Ethiopia, further strengthening their roots with the religion.
