Aboard the HMS Belfast - Kathryn T, Townley Grammar
The Thames is always busy with a mixture of pleasure craft and tourist cruises, but the sight of a 600ft warship is always an impressive and slightly unexpected one. Anchored just upriver of Tower Bridge, the HMS Belfast has been a museum ship since 1971, and celebrated its 80th birthday last year. During the Easter holidays, I had the opportunity to spend a day exploring the ship, and it was an amazing experience.
