Warning issued over 'severe cold weather' about to hit Croydon

Croydon is about to get seriously chilly after the Met Office issued a level 3 alert for severe cold weather.There is a 90% probability that, between 3pm on Tuesday, December 27 and 11am on Friday, December 30, there will be widespread overnight frost and thick fog in parts of the borough.Croydon is right on the border of the level 3 alert, which applies to most of the south east, with some of the borough affected by the level 3 alert and other parts affected by a level 2 warning.It is feared...
