School evacuated after fire breaks out
A school was evacuated after a fire broke out earlier this week.It took firefighters from Croydon, Purley and Sutton stations almost two hours to bring the blaze in Harbury Road, Carshalton under control on Wednesday.Crews were called just after 9.30am to the school where there is construction work taking place.A London Fire Brigade spokesman said 100 pupils and staff had to leave the building and no one was hurt in the incidents.Firefighters had the flames under control by just before 11.15am..
