Coulsdon residents are overwhelmingly against plans to build housing on the town's largest car park, in Lion Green Road, according to a survey by Conservative councillors.A new Waitrose supermarket was due to be built on the site last year, but those plans collapsed this time last year after the council said the scheme was no longer viable.It was to be delivered in a private partnership between the council and developer John Laing - known as CCURV, set up by the Conservatives before Labour came.
