RECAP: Homes evacuated in Addiscombe due to a fire

Firefighters had to evacuate people from homes on a road in Addiscombe this afternoon, due to a fire on a building site. Two crews, one from Woodside and one from Croydon Fire Station, were called to Inglis Road at about 12.45pm.
