Power fault causes rail disruption between Purley and Caterham

A power fault has caused disruption for Caterham commuters this morning. Southern said some trains were unable to draw power from the electric third rail at the station, stopping services to and from Caterham on all lines. Though the problem has been fixed, the knock-on effects of the disruption is leading to delays between Caterham and Purley of about 20 minutes.The disruption was expected to last until at least 9am.
