Police arrest 'suspicious sleeping man' after finding drugs in...

A man is in custody after police found drugs in his car in Thornton Heath. Officers were called to Brigstock Road at 9.50am this morning after receiving reports of a suspicious man asleep in a parked vehicle. Police searched the car and uncovered six packages of a class B drug, believed to be cannabis. A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene for possession with intent to supply a class B drug. He has been taken to a south London police station and enquiries continue.
