Man dies after being hit by a train at East Croydon

The British Transport Police (BTP) have confirmed that a man has died this morning, after being hit by a train at East Croydon station.Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at about 9am following reports that someone had been struck by a train as it travelled through Platform 1 at East Croydon.Platforms 1 and 2 were cordoned off in order to allow emergency services to attend the scene.Photos sent to the Advertiser showed a number of police and ambulance vehicles parked up outside the...
