LIVE: Southern rail strikes

Southern staff are on strike today as the row over proposed changes to the conductors' role rumbles on. The company plans to transfer the responsibility for opening and closing train doors to the driver - a move the RMT Union says will compromise safety. A number of trains are cancelled and there will be a limited services on other routes until this evening. Trains across all routes are expected to be very busy, with the operator not able to guarantee passengers a space to travel....
