Listed building flats plan refused

Croydon Council has rejected plans to demolish part of a listed building in the town centre.  The proposals were for 91-95 Church Street and were submitted by PD Planning UK Ltd on behalf of Patems properties. The company wanted to knock down existing rear extensions at the three buildings to make way for a two-four storey block of nine flats. The flats would have been made up of a studio flat, six one-bed flats and two two-bed flats. Shops in the current buildings, across the road from the
