The former head teacher of a Croydon school made an MBE for services to young people has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a boy in his home.A jury at the Old Bailey today found John Coatman, 75, guilty of gross indecency with a boy in the early 1970s.The former head teacher of St Andrew's Church of England High School in Waddon, who taught for 42 years, was cleared of buggery with the boy, who cannot be identified.The jury had heard that Coatman had engaged in sexual acts with the boy,..
