Croydon dating website fraud case adjourned for seventh time

CRIMINAL proceedings against an alleged conwoman have been adjourned for the seventh time. Neelam Desai, 35, is accused of orchestrating a scam which allegedly resulted in men being tricked out of tens of thousands of pounds via a dating website. The case against her has been repeatedly adjourned since she was required summonsed to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on October 29 last year but failed to show.
