Biker dies in crash after being 'hit by pigeon' on A22

A motorcyclist has died after he came off his bike after reportedly being hit by a pigeon early this morning. The biker was pronounced dead at the scene after coming off his bike in Godstone, near the roundabout with Godstone Hill and the M25 junction, about 7am.The road is currently closed while emergency services attended the scene and an initial collision investigation is carried out.Fire crews from Godstone Fire Station also attended the crash.
