​Baby left in life-threatening condition after crash between car...

A baby was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash between a car and a lorry in South Croydon. Police came across the collision at 12.30pm in Coombe Lane at the junction with Ballards Way yesterday (Thursday).A man, woman and a baby in the car were taken to hospital. The man and woman were in a serious condition and the baby's condition was described as life-threatening. Detectives from the Roads, Transport Policing Command are investigating.
