A22 will be closed until 12pm after motorcyclist dies in crash

A stretch of the A22 will be closed until at least midday after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash this morning. A man, believed to be 36 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene, near the roundabout with Godstone Hill and the M25 junction in Godstone, after coming off his bike about 7am. Fire crews who attended the scene said the crash was caused after the rider was struck by a pigeon. The road is currently closed while emergency services attended the scene and an initial collision...
