Teenage girl found dead in woods

AN investigation is underway following the discovery of the body of a teenage girl in woodland in Weston-super-Mare.
Police were called yesterday (Monday) at just after 9pm to reports of a body of a teenage girl in the woods near to Weston Hospital. Her death is not thought to be suspicious and no one is being sought in connection with the incident.
The death has been referred to the coroner and the teenager has yet to be formally identified.
