Rapist jailed for ‘inhumane’ attack on woman

A man who raped a woman he met on a night out in Bath has been jailed. Anthony Brown-Jones, 31, of Rugeley, Staffordshire, denied raping his victim in September 2020 at a holiday lodge but was found guilty following a trial at Bristol Crown Court. Sentencing Brown-Jones to seven years and six months in prison, Judge Martin Picton said the attack was “animalistic” and “inhumane”.
