Police face busy weekend with almost 5,000 calls

The increasing demand on police resources as lockdown restrictions ease was again evident over the weekend with almost 5,000 calls to our control room. Between 8pm on Friday 24 July and 8am on Monday 27 July, police arrested 141 people who were taken into custody.
