Shared Reading: Not Like Your GCSE English- Hannah Ison, Surbiton High

On a Thursday morning, in the buzzing tranquility of New Malden Library, a group has gathered. Fortified by tea and biscuits, they’re reading aloud from print-outs of a short story carefully chosen by reader leader Adele Hetherington. They’re part of The Reader charity’s goal of uniting local communities through shared reading.
