Unpaid work for 80 hours after assault

A MAN smashed his way into a woman’s home and assaulted her next to a baby’s cot. At Bolton Magistrates’ Court Robin Yorke, aged 30, of Bolton Road, Kearsley, pleaded guilty to assault and using violence to gain entry to premises on August 18.
