School pupils from around Bolton lend a helping hand in 2003

Today's picture from The Bolton News archives shows pupils from schools across Bolton who met at Bolton Arena in 2003, to present over 100 handprints to M.E.P Gary Titley. The event was organised by Oxfam and was aimed at targeting the issue of how over 115million children across the world do not attend schools.
