LETTER: 'UK just can't continue shelling out foreign aid'

Mr Walkden in his recent letter responding to earlier contributor John Walters raises a controversial subject when he questions, from his own experience living abroad in South Africa, whether our foreign aid improves the lives of poor people for whom it is intended.
