Going green in town centre does not leave shoppers stony faced

PUZZLED shoppers were in for shock when they came across the town’s latest piece of artwork on Deansgate yesterday. The green statue of a seated man moved!The ‘living statue’ positioned himself outside Marks and Spencer during the day, remaining stony-faced until someone took a closer look. He then moved, sending delighted onlookers scurrying away, giggling.
