Garage damaged after electrical fire

FIRE crews were called after an electrical mains board in a garage burst into flames.The incident occurred at around 1.50pm on Tuesday, at a semi-detached property in Lower Mead, Egerton.The blaze caused damage to the gas meter and several items stored in the garage, but crews were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the adjoining property.It is believed the fire was started by a fault with the main intake on the electrics.
