Vehicles stopped for carrying 'dangerous loads' on motorways

Two vehicles were stopped by traffic officers for attempting to deliver A transit van and trailer was stopped at junction 29 on the M6 for carrying 12.5m flag poles on the trailer and resting them on the roof of the van. The driver was reported. Another van and trailer was stopped on the M55 at Kirkham with the pipes resting between the back of the transit and strapped to the trailer. The driver reported and the vehicle was issued an immediate prohibition.
