Rider attempting to escape has e-bike seized

Police have seized an e-bike which was being driven dangerously in Blackpool. Officers said four men on e-bikes were spotted riding along Waterloo Road during the early hours of this morning (Monday). One of the riders tried to evade officers by driving down an alleyway but ended up in a dead end. A police spokesperson said: “After a swift U-turn, the rider tried to make off at speed only to head straight towards awaiting tasking officers. He decided to ditch the bike and make off on foot
