New bridge linked Blackburn Library and King George's Hall

Here’s one to test your memory. Who remembers when Northgate in Blackburn was closed off in 1975 as work began on a walkway which linked King George’s Hall on the right to the library on the left? Did you ever walk across the completed bridge?
