New authority proposal threatens Lancashire devolution consensus

A government minister will be amongst a delegation of Whitehall officials who will travel to Lancashire in the coming weeks to start preliminary talks over how the county can secure a long-awaited devolution deal, the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) can reveal.
