Lanes open on busy route into Blackburn after crash

A two-vehicle crash heading into Blackburn caused delays for drivers during rush hour. The incident happened earlier this evening (Wednesday) on the A59 towards Blackburn at Samlesbury. A blue people carrier which had one side smashed in was parked on the side of the road and police had closed one lane to traffic. There did not appear to be any injuries and police had reopened the lane to traffic soon after.
