Graves collapse at Blackburn cemetery following heavy weekend rain

Volunteers from a community group spent the evening helping to maintain graves that had collapsed due to the harsh weather. The Brookhouse Development Group put a call out for assistance on Monday (July 24) for people to assist them at Pleasington cemetery The heavy rainfall led to flooding in parts of the county and the huge amount of water led to some of the graves collapsing.
