Firefighters called to put out vehicle fire in Bacup

Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire in Bacup and house fire in Darwen in two separate incidents. The incident happened on Burnley Road at around 2.15pm on Monday (September 25). A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “One fire engine from Bacup attended a vehicle fire on Burnley Road, Bacup. “Firefighters used one hose jet to extinguish the fire.
