Coronavirus cases in Blackburn with Darwen CONTINUE to rise, as total tips 7,000 mark

The number of people testing positive for the coronavirus is continuing to rise across East Lancashire after new figures showed 469 new affirmative tests had been recorded since Tuesday - the highest increase this week.
